HOUSE TYPE D

energy efficiency and clever design.
TYPE D: This house type was designed as a starter home. The smallest and most economical of our standard houses, it retains excellent energy efficiency and generous accommodation. Its compact design and carefully designed services are particularly well suited to small sites, especially urban ones.
Type D has an adjoining living, dining and kitchen area. The hallway offers access to the stairway, downstairs bathroom and store cupboard. A utility is also provided and can be accessed via the kitchen space.
This type can be arranged as either a two or three-bedroom house. The Ground Floor plan stays the same, and the upper floors can be arranged to fit a different number of bedrooms.
The two-bedroom offers larger bedrooms with a shared bathroom on the First Floor.
The three-bedroom offers two double bedrooms and one single bedroom, with a shared bathroom on the First Floor.

All the house types are Architect designed by a Certified Passivhaus Designer. The simplicity and functionality of the layouts is easy to see, however, behind the scenes, the construction details of the houses have been rigorously reviewed and tested to eliminate cold bridging and optimise the performance. Externally robust detailing is used to minimise cyclical maintenance. This all helps to ensure low running costs.
